A variety of caring services are available through Spiritus Roma Social Services.
TRACC Roma provides recruitment, training and support for Foster Carers and Kinship Carers across far South-West Qld whilst the Reconnect and Reunification program assists children in care to re-unite and build / maintain connections with their family. We also work with children with extreme or complex needs.
TRACC services are available in Roma, Mitchell, Tara, Injune, Condamine, Miles, St George and places in between.
Operating in the educational districts of Roma and Chinchilla, the Youth Support Co-Ordinator Service has a primary responsibility to link with young people who are at risk of prematurely disengaging from education.
The Mental Health Family Support Service supports individuals and families who experience mental health and family issues in far South-West Queensland. Supporting people in the communities of Injune, Mitchell, Roma, Surat, St George, Mungindi, Wallumbilla & surrounding districts, this service also provides a community development and educational role.
Enable Lifestyle Support provides support to clients with a physical or intellectual disability who live within a 200km radius of Roma. Support includes in-home support, including assistance with personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, etc; opportunities to develop and maintain skills; social integration and opportunities to participate in the life of the community.
A variety of out-of-home respite options, including participation in the Woodwork Shop, Bicycle Repair Program, Song & Dance Troupe, school holiday programs. TAFE courses, weekend Farmstays, holidays and sporting activities.
Enable Outreach also provides in-home personal support and social integration through community activities in Miles, Mitchell, Injune, Chinchilla, Surat and St George.
