St Matthew's Glebe - Drayton
History
Named after St Matthew’s parish church, situated on the corner of Beatrice Street, and next door to the Independent Living Units.
Built originally by the parish of Drayton, they then became part of the Residential services of Spiritus.
Accommodation
There are 18 resident-funded Independent Living Units situated on the hill at Drayton next to the scenic lookout with views across the valley.
Each unit comprises two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and drawers, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with separate bathroom and toilet. The paved patios to the rear also allow space for an individual outdoor clothes line.
The units are single storey with flat access and each has a single vehicle lockup garage.
All units have emergency call systems linked to Symes Thorpe.
Gardens are maintained but residents are free to develop their own area with their preferred plants.
