Spiritus Thallon Community Care offers carers the opportunity to ‘take a break to recharge’ your energy and spirits with our special Thallon Day Respite Centre, enabling you to resume the day-to-day activities of caring for your loved one, feeling renewed and refreshed.

And, if carers just need some time and space for themselves, without engaging in any organised activities, that’s fine … we’re here and happy to support you in whichever way is most beneficial to you and your individual circumstances.

Our centre-based respite service is available, one day each week, at the Thallon CWA Hall.

Carers are welcome to join the person they care for on an organised outing to visit local places of interest or enjoy other interesting activities, or we will take care of their loved one for them during this time.

Also, a lovely home-style morning tea is provided so that you can enjoy a chat with others over a cuppa. If you would like to leave the car at home, we can arrange transport to and from the hall.
Whichever respite option suits you best, you can be assured your loved one will receive the best of care from our qualified, skilled staff in a friendly and safe environment.
