Spiritus Bush Nursing Services offer healthy choices to help you live well in Cecil Plains and surrounding Shires.  Spiritus have operated this Bush Nursing Service since 2004; however, the service was first established 88 years ago.

Services available include treatment of minor accidents and illnesses; childhood and adult immunisations; antenatal and postnatal care; child, family and youth health; Healthy Living Respite Program; women’s health; health promotion and education; home and centre based aged care; social support and counselling; care after hospital discharge; wound care; referrals to other health professionals such as medical doctors, podiatrist, social worker and psychologist; referrals to other specialist organisations such as the Qld Bush Children’s Association and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander organisations.

A medical practitioner comes to the clinic every Wednesday and a Pathology collection service is available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Bush Nurses are not ‘on call’ and if you have an emergency, the ambulance is to be called on 000.  Remember to state your rural number if out of town and your nearest cross street if you live in Cecil Plains.
